This proposed seven years, Gender Transformative and human rights-based (GE-3) program will implement integrated, multisectoral, evidence-based interventions that will address the key determinants of nutrition, gender inequalities, and sexual reproductive ill health in underserved and rural target areas of the four countries (Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia and Bangaladesh). In Tanzania, REACTS-IN will be implemented in Meatu and Maswa districts of Simiyu Region. The program will make a notable contribution to the advancement of global health, and alleviation of poverty for women, adolescent girls, children, and other household members who are affected by different forms of inequalities and lack of decision-making. In this regard, IHI has been contracted as a private evaluator in Tanzania to conduct the baseline, midline and endline evaluation. The data will be collected at three time points: baseline (2024), midline (2026-2027) and endline (2029).
